Q. What is CPS (Carrier Pre Selection)
A. Carrier Pre-Selection (CPS) is a government approved mechanism that allows end-users to select, in advance, alternative Communications Providers to carry their calls without having to dial a prefix or install any special equipment at their premises. The end-user subscribes to the services of the CPS operator and chooses for their calls to be carried by them. The end-user is billed for these calls by the CPSO or CPS Reseller - In this case TNBN.
Q. How does TNBN offer cheaper line rental?
A. TNBN offers wholesale line rental (WLR) which is a product that BT is obliged to provide to other Communications Providers. It enables other Communications Providers to offer both line rental and calls to end-users over BT's local network. This usually means that the end-user no longer has a contractual relationship with BT and is billed solely by the WLR provider - In this case TNBN.

A. No. Switching is 100% free of charge.
Q. Will my broadband still work if I switch?

Q. In the unlikely event of a fault who do I call?
A. If a fault occurs you can call TNBN. We will rectify the fault - BT openreach will still fix your lines under our banner at no extra charge.
Q. If I sign up how long does it take to switch.
A. If you register for just calls it takes up to 10 working days - If you switch lines as well it takes up to 20 working days.
